Bill Cherry III
Associate Broker
GRI, ABR
Bill originally moved to
Barnesville in 1980. In 1983, he joined the United States Air Force
as a Personal Specialist. In a few short years he decided to retrain
as an Intelligence Technician. His last 10 years was spent in the military helping
fighter pilots and ground commanders do their job by keeping them informed
on any adversarial threat location. In 1992, Bill was reassigned as
an Airborne Intelligence Specialist where he applied his tactical
knowledge while flying in a specially modified EC-130E. While serving in
this position he was in constant communication with ground commanders and
fighter pilots managing real world battle situations.
In 1996, Bill realized his time away from
his family was too much, especially while serving abroad, and a decision was made to apply for separation and
received an honorable discharged.
Immediately after leaving the service, Bill joined
his mother, Panzy Cherry, the founder of Spring Properties, and began to learn the business
she built. In late November 2000, Bill's mother, boss,
mentor and best friend lost her battle with cancer, the only battle
that Panzy didn't win. After her quick passing, Bill
immediately began to prepare for the Georgia Real Estate Commission State
Examination to become the Broker for Spring Properties.
Bill would like for everybody to know, he is here
for the long haul and does not just want new customers, but the lasting
friendships that his mother was known for.
